Congratulations to the 2011 Red Zone Challenge Champion-Phil Primm

Reynolds Golf Academy hosted to the 2011 Red Zone Challenge on Monday, October 24th at the National Golf Course at Reynolds Plantation. 

The 20 participants in this years tournament were members of the Annual Member-Coaching Program offered at the Golf Academy.  The contest follows the outline of Charlie King's highly touted book Golf's Red Zone Challenge.

The event kicked-off with a 9-hole, 100 yards-and-in tournament on the National Golf Course (Bluff) to determine the finalists.  The 4 low-net finishers returned to the Golf Academy to Participate in the Finals.

The four finalists skills were tested in 6 short-game categories to determine the overall champion.

  1. Distance Wedge (60yds)
  2. Pitching
  3. Sand
  4. Chipping
  5. Lag Putting (45ft)
  6. Short Putting (6ft)
